The project activities carry the theme "Learning Sanitation from an Early Age" and a series of project activities include:

  1. Preparation

Preparations have been made since March 2022, by conducting 2 surveys. This survey intends to find and prioritize problems in the area. The first survey was conducted on March 14, 2022, by interviewing local residents about current health problems. However, from this first survey, the group has not been able to determine priority health problems in the area, so we plan a second survey.

The second survey was conducted on March 17, 2022. The group visited residents' residences and interviewed several residents. The result was that the priority problems in the environment were PHBS, especially personal sanitation issues. After that, the group prepares all the tools and materials to carry out activities, such as providing material, pre-test and post-test questions, games, and gifts.

  1. Implementation

Implementation of activities carried out on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at 16.00–18.00 WIB at the Care House (Green Indonesia Foundation) with a pre-test, presentation of material by students through the lecture method as well as aids such as power points and video screenings, material presentation activities interspersed by game activities so that participants do not feel bored. After that, participants practice the learning video and fill out the post-test.

The implementation of this activity is a tangible form of learning from the Health Evaluation Planning course. Students make plans, carry out these plans through outreach activities, and evaluate activities. The hope of this Project Based Learning activity is that it can increase self-confidence and be skilled in dealing with society in the future.
