FIKES UPNVJ -  Thursday, June 9 2022, Nutrition Studies Program Undergraduate Program The Nutrition Consultation course is one of the mandatory courses for the Undergraduate Nutrition Study Program which is supported by the coordinating lecturer Mr. M. Ikhsan Amar, S, Gz, M.Kes, Mrs. Dr. Nur Intania Sofianita, MKM and Mrs. Luh Desi Puspareni, M.Gizi.

A series of activities for implementing Project Based Learning activities for this course which takes place from 10 May to 9 June 2022. There are 18 groups of students spread across 18 locations in JABODETABEK who have the opportunity to have direct experience in practicing nutrition consultation methods for all age groups and several diseases, with the following activity themes;

  2. The Effect of Poster Media in Nutrition Counseling on Basic Nutrition Knowledge in School Age Children 8 - 12 Years
  3. The Effect of Group Nutrition Counseling using Slide Media with Basic Knowledge of Nutrition and Body Image in the Use of Social Media (Instagram) on Nutritional Status in the Group of Adults Age 18-21 Years Old
  4. Elderly Group Nutrition Consultation (Hypertension)
  5. Relationship between Mother's Knowledge of Exclusive Breastfeeding and Complementary Breastfeeding with the Incidence of Mouth Shutting Movement on Baby's Nutritional Status (0 - 24 Months)
  6. Nutrition Consultation for Breastfeeding Mothers
  7. Nutrition Counseling Related to Excessive Imt at Adolescence

The implementation of this activity is a real practical learning, students can meet and carry out nutritional consultations with clients, have experience in interviewing clients/patients, measuring weight and height or body length for babies, making media tools such as leaflets, posters, videos, booklets and Experienced in analyzing activity data. It is hoped that this Project Based Learning activity will increase students' skills and confidence in dealing with clients/patients in the future. (09/06/22_NIS).
