National Nursing Conference FIKES UPN Veteran Jakarta 2023 Nursing Study Program Nursing Education Program

FIKES UPNVJ - Nursing Education Study Program Professional Program organizes activities with the theme of the Conference, Update and Challenges of Implementing Evidence Based Practice Medical-Surgical Nursing Care. This activity is a project class of students of the TA profession. 2022-2023. In addition to the webinar with the theme Implementation of Evidence Based Practice in Medical Surgical Nursing Care which presented KMB experts, namely Prof. dr. Elly Nurachmah, M.App.Sc. DNSc. Dr. I Made Kariasa, S.Kp., M.M., M.Kep., Sp.KMB., and Ns. Umi Aisyiyah, S.Kep., M.Kep., Sp.Kep.MB. This activity was also followed by the dissemination of case reports in the form of oral presentations and poster presentations. In addition, participants also sent their articles to be disseminated through conference proceedings.

The Matra Health Webinar series of events, namely the Opening by Sondang Mariani (Ners Student) as the Master of Ceremony, then remarks by Nur Fitria Firliani as the Chief Executive. This activity was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Ms. Desmawati, S.Kp., M. Kep., Sp. Mat., Ph.D. He said that the webinar speakers were great experts in the field of Medical Surgical Nursing. Participants who take part in this activity will receive benefits, including obtaining updated information on Evidence-Based Practice of Medical-Surgical Nursing Care, updated information on Evidence-Based Practice, especially Medical-Surgical Nursing Care in neuroscience and musculoskeletal, information about the application of research utilization or Evidence-Based Practice by Nursing students . And for participants as presenters as an event for disseminating practice results, and as a national competition event in terms of oral/presentation and case report article writing.

The participants consisted of leaders of nursing study programs, nursing lecturers, CI/clinic supervisors of hospitals where Nurse students practice: Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital, Soeyoto National Police Hospital, Tarakan Hospital, Pasar Minggu Hospital, Depok Hospital, dr. Chasbullah Abdulmajid, Bekasi City. Student participants from nursing institutions in Indonesia include Pekanbaru State Umbrella Stikes, Pertamedika Jakarta Stikes, WDH Tangerang Stikes, Indonesian Medistra Stikes, Family Partners Stikes, Widya Husada Periodic Medical College. University of Muhammadiyah Jakarta, Medan Pioneering Institute. Participants also came from nursing lecturers and hospital nurses, as well as Nursing Profession Students, Bachelor and Diploma 3 Nursing at UPN Veteran Jakarta.

It is hoped that this activity can improve students' abilities and experience in disseminating practical results, especially case reports based on EBN. This activity will be carried out every year and will increase various national competition categories related to increasing the achievements of Nursing students nationally. dr. Then the presentation of the second material regarding "EBP Nursing Care of Neuroscience in the Transitional Period of Covid - 19" by Dr. I Made Kariasa, S.Kp., M.M., M.Kep., Sp.KMB. And continued with material related to "Implementation of Evidence Based Nursing in Musculoskeletal Nursing Care" by Mrs. Ns. Umi Aisyiyah, S.Kep., Sp.Kep.MB, M.Kep.

This was followed by a question and answer session with the resource persons. The question and answer session ran smoothly and there was enthusiasm from the participants. Then the event ended with filling in the evaluation link by the webinar participants.
