FIKES UPNVJ - Students of the Undergraduate Nursing Study Program recently held an event entitled "Inauguration of the Healthy Gateway Youth Posyandu: First Steps to Raise Awareness of Adolescent Health in RW. 06 Grogol, Limo, Depok." which will be held on July 27, 2022 at 14.00 at the Karang Taruna RW Headquarters. 06, Grogol Village, Limo District, Depok City. This event is one of the concerns of the Nursing Study Program Students of the UPN Veteran Jakarta Undergraduate Program in community nursing practice, especially for groups of teenagers in the RW. 06 Grogol Village, Limo, Depok. The event was then continued with remarks by the Secretary of the Limo Sub-district, Depok, Dra. Yeni Suhartini, M.A, Head of Grogol Village, Limo, Depok Danudi Amin, S.E, Head of UPTD Grogol Health Center dr. Toni Hermawan and the Head of RW. 06 Grogol, Limo, Depok Amsir, S.Pd.
"We from the sub-district are ready to help and support the activities of the youth posyandu, especially regarding the location and this is an opportunity to be able to collaborate with the Depok City GenRe and the establishment of PIK R in Grogol Village," Yeni welcomed.
In addition, the Healthy Gate Youth Posyandu activity also received support from the Lurah of Grogol, Limo, Depok. "This youth Posyandu is a program that must be continued by the driving cadres, not just stopping at the formation event," said Danudi in his speech.
"I, as the person in charge of the UPTD of the Grogol Health Center, am willing to provide guidance and assistance to the cadres of the Healthy Gate Youth Posyandu in order to increase the capacity for adolescent health," said Toni in his speech.
The inauguration of the Healthy Gate Youth Posyandu was also attended by the Midwife in charge of Grogol Village, Amna Wahida, AmKeb and Family Planning Field Officer (PLKB) Limo Yaharini and Depok City Genre Ambassador Meita Choppypah also attended the Inauguration of the Youth Posyandu.
The event continued with remarks from the academic side of the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN Veterans Jakarta, Ns. Santi Herlina, S.Kep., M.Kep., Sp.Kep.MB., Head of Nursing Department, Faculty of Health Sciences UPN Veterans Jakarta Ns. Wiwin Winarti,S.Kep., M.Epid.,MN, Head of the Nursing Study Program Undergraduate Program Ns. Fiora Ladesvita, S.Kep., M.Kep., Sp.Kep.MB, Secretary of the Undergraduate Nursing Study Program, Ns. Mareta Dea Rosaline, S.Kep., M.Kep. and Lecturer of the Undergraduate Nursing Study Program at UPN Veterans Jakarta Ns. Chandra Tri Wahyudi, M.Kes., M.Kep., Ns. Nourmayansa Vidya Anggraini, S.Kep., M.Kep., Sp.Kep.Kom, Ns. Ritanti, S.Kep., M.Kep., Sp.Kep.Kom and Ns. Sang Ayu Made Adyani, S.Kep., M.Kep., Sp.Kep.Kop also supported the Inauguration activity.
"Youth Posyandu is a gateway to prepare the younger generation so that they can produce healthy teenagers who will later realize the golden Indonesia 2045," said Santi in her speech.
Not to forget, students as facilitators also provide support in the formation of youth posyandu. "My message to Youth Posyandu cadres, congratulations and enthusiasm for continuing the Youth Posyandu activities every month. We are waiting for the good news and we are waiting for healthy, smart, cheerful teenagers from RW. 06 Grogol Village," said Bebi in his speech.
The event continued with an explanation of the urgency of the formation of a youth posyandu by Student Facilitator Siti Luthfiana Hasena and Chairperson of the Youth Posyandu Wahyudi.
"There are many teenagers in RW. 06 Grogol Village, but only a handful of teenagers are concerned about health. This is a real challenge for all of us," explained Wahyu while showing the material on the prevalence of youth. In addition, it was emphasized again "This youth Posyandu will not only last a month or two months but in the long term it will become a driving cadre in increasing knowledge and skills related to the dangers of smoking, drug abuse, risky sex and violence prevention," said Siti Luthfiana while explaining the long-term goals Healthy Gateway Youth Posyandu.
The event then continued with the symbolic inauguration of the ribbon cutting and the signing of the certificate for the establishment of the Healthy Gate Youth Posyandu by the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences UPN Veterans Jakarta, the Secretary of the Camat, Lurah Grogol and the Head of the UPTD Puskesmas. After the Healthy Gate Youth Posyandu was inaugurated, it was continued with the implementation of the Posyandu with the concept of five tables which was run by cadres and accompanied by students as facilitators.
About the Nursing Study Program, Undergraduate Program, Faculty of Health, UPN Veterans Jakarta
The Nursing Science study program was established on October 22, 2002 which was originally united under the UPNVJ Faculty of Medicine as part of the Faculty of Medicine Study Program. Considering the acceleration of the development of the Nursing Science study program, especially in the number of students as well as the Public Health Sciences, it is deemed necessary to release these study programs from the Faculty of Medicine which will then be merged into a single health study program, namely the Faculty of Health Sciences on October 5 2007. Furthermore, the Nutrition Science study program was established in September 2010 as part of the study program of the Faculty of Health Sciences.
