Capping Day Nursing Study Program for Diploma Three and Bachelor Program in 2022

FIKES UPNVJ - On Wednesday, June 15, 2022, Students of the Nursing Study Program, from both Diploma and Bachelor programs, carried out Capping Day activities which were carried out through the Zoom Meeting Platform which consisted of 276 inaugurated participants with details of 92 Nursing Diploma students 92 and 110 undergraduate nursing students, Invited Guests and Organizing Committee.

Capping day is an event for the clerk's oath and stamping for nursing students who will practice in the clinic. This event is required by students in order to enter the Hospital for practice. Participants from Capping Day 2022 are second-level D3 and S1 students. Due to the pandemic, the Caping Day event will be held online without compromising the essence of the capping day itself.

The holding of Capping Day activities for the Diploma and Bachelor of Nursing Program in 2022 aims to: Organize a clerk's promise and install a seal for diploma and bachelor students in Nursing before entering clinical practice and Formation of students in Nursing Diploma and Bachelor programs, FIKES UPN Veterans Jakarta who upholds the nursing code of ethics.

Installation of caps, pins & nameplates by parents, pronunciation of clerkship appointments for all students of the Nursing Study Program Diploma three and Bachelor programs Faculty of Health Sciences UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, were guided by Dr. drg. Wahyu Sulistiadi, MARS.

This was followed by a speech given by the Chancellor of UPN Veterans Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Erna Hernawati, Ak, CPMA, CA, CGOP.

The result of this activity is the formation of nursing students who uphold the professional code of ethics since clinical practice so that when they become nurses they will continue to internalize the professional code of ethics in providing care.
