FIKES UPNVJ - An Audience activity has been held with Nutrition S1 alumni from all generations, today 17 June 2022 which was attended by 78 people and led by the Head of the Undergraduate Nutrition Study Program, Dr. Nur Intania Sofianita, MKM. This activity serves as a forum for gathering and discussing developments in the learning process in terms of knowledge, attitudes and skills in practice and practicum/PKL/internships in the field of community nutrition, clinical nutrition, food/industrial management, independent entrepreneurship and other fields.
This event is also an evaluation of the study program to complete the learning mechanism in order to improve the competence of graduates, collaboration with alumni as well as suggestions for completing the OBE curriculum which will be perfected by the Undergraduate Nutrition Study Program. The Head of Nutrition Study Program urges alumni to:
Not forgetting that the Head of Study Program also provided information related to the Vision, Mission, Goals and Targets of the Nutrition study program to alumni. For approximately 60 minutes there was an exciting and extraordinary discussion from the alumni by telling their experiences while working in the field of good nutrition in health centers, hospitals, and the dairy and food industry. Some suggestions from Alumni for the improvement of graduates from the Undergraduate Nutrition study program include; can add learning related to dietetics and patient nutrition care, stunting prevention, tracking of malnutrition, Rematri added Blood Tablets, Counseling at the posyandu, nutrition education in the communication community that is tailored to the psychological condition of the client/patient, nutritional counseling courses changed to the OSCE method so that graduates are more ready when meeting patients, learning to make electronic/audio visual media, more emphasis on making innovations in the field of food with local wisdom in limited conditions (because each region has different main nutritional problems), for example in rural and remote areas there is still very little Health information especially nutrition, and the last suggestion is that the UPNVJ nutrition program can immediately open a Dietician study program, so that alumni can continue their studies and can provide the best nutritional care in the workplace.
Expectations of the Nutrition Study Program Team for the Undergraduate Program. Successful Nutrition Alumni wherever they are, can keep in touch, collaborate and benefit society and the country. (NIS)
