Prehospital Elective Nursing Program Contract

FIKES UPNVJ - On Monday, March 3, 2025, seven nursing professional students from the Faculty of Health Sciences UPN "Veteran" Jakarta underwent an elective nursing internship with a prehospital focus at the DKI Jakarta Health Crisis and Emergency Center. This internship began with a program contract that aims to improve student competency in health services and support academic development in the field of prehospital nursing. This internship is an elective program that provides students with the opportunity to gain specific competencies, especially in emergency nursing. This internship aims to provide real experience in implementing optimal professional nursing care, especially in emergency areas that occur outside the hospital or prehospital.

This program contract activity took place in the Leadership Meeting Room on the 5th floor of the DKI Jakarta Health Crisis and Emergency Center building. The activity was attended by Ns. Jajang Rahmat S., M.Kep., Sp.Kep. Kom as the supervisor, Ns. Maya Ramadhani, S.kep as the Head of Clinical Instructor, Ns. Roma Radiah, S.Kep as the Coordinator of the Implementation of Practice and the Clinical Instructor Team, namely Ns. Kharisma Adytama Putra, S.Kep., Sp.Kep.MB, Ns. Uray Pardinan, M. Kep., Sp. Kep.A, Ns. Ariningsih Pujiastuti, S.Kep, Ns. Widina Mathilda, S.Kep, Uji Thoyyibah, AMd.Kep and Ns. Ade Asep S., S.Kep and Training Administrators Lia Prastika, AMd.Kep and Rianda Sari, AMd.Kep. In addition, from the campus, Ns. Cut Sarida Pompey, M.N.S as the Head of the Nursing Department, the supervising lecturers, namely Ns. Chandra Tri W, M.Kes., M.Kep and Ns. Sang Ayu Made A, M.Kep., Sp.Kep.Kom and students. This agreement includes cooperation in the field of professional practice of Nurses elective nursing stasis with a prehospital interest with a main focus on improving understanding and prehospital nursing services in Indonesia.

In her speech, Ns. Jajang Rahmat S., M.Kep., Sp.Kep. Kom as the supervisor emphasized that this collaboration is a strategic effort to strengthen the synergy between the academic world and health practitioners. She hopes that students can take advantage of this opportunity to deepen the knowledge gained during their practice at the Health Crisis and Emergency Center (PK3D) and make it a valuable provision in facing challenges in the world of work later.

Furthermore, the program contract was continued with an explanation of the material from the Clinical Instructor Team and an explanation related to the assignment and mechanism of prehospital nursing practice at the DKI Jakarta Health Crisis and Emergency Center by the training team. Through this collaboration, the DKI Jakarta Health Crisis and Emergency Center together with the UPNVJ Faculty of Health Sciences hope to be able to make a real contribution to improving the quality of prehospital health services in Indonesia and producing competent and professional nurses in their fields.
