This activity was held on Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 08.00-16.45 at the Tanah Airku Auditorium, 5th Floor, FIKes UPN "Veteran" Jakarta.
The main resource person in this activity was a health worker from BKK Class I Bandung. The activity began with a presentation of material by Amanda Cherkayani Sejati, S.K.M., M.P.H with the topic "The Role of Public Health in Matra Conditions at the Country's Entry Points". Hajj and Umrah health is one of the important aspects of health dimensions at the country's entry points considering the large number of Indonesian people who perform the Hajj pilgrimage every year. Some of the objectives of organizing Hajj health are to ensure the health of the Hajj pilgrims, control the health risk factors for Hajj, maintain the health of the Hajj pilgrims, prevent the transmission of infectious diseases that may be carried in/out by the Hajj pilgrims, and maximize community participation.
The role of Health Administration and Policy (AKK) in it can be in the form of recapitulation, coordination, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of Hajj pilgrims who enter the embarkation, are referred to the hospital, are postponed/canceled due to health conditions, the number of flightworthy, and examination procedures. The role of Environmental Health (Kesling) in it can be in the form of inspection and supervision of environmental conditions, sanitation, catering, and food brought by the Hajj pilgrims. The role of Occupational Health and Safety (K3) in it can be in the form of noise checks at the embarkation, supervision of security facilities, and lighting checks at the embarkation.
After the presentation session, the activity continued with the “Matra Hajj Health Simulation” guided by Yeni Suryamah, S.K.M., M.Epid. Various examples of health problems that occur in the field, became the basis for compiling cases to be simulated by students through roleplay activities. The 114 students were divided into 6 groups, and each group consisted of AKK, Kesling, and K3 interests to solve the cases given together through roleplay. Afterwards, the judges gave comments. This activity was very interactive and fun because it provided a different learning experience than usual. In addition to the analytical skills needed to solve problems collaboratively, students were also asked to be able to present them in an activity concept such as a roleplay stage.
