FIKES UPNVJ - On Tuesday, April 23 2024 at 10.00 WIB, disaster mitigation activities took place with the theme "Earthquake Disaster Management" located at RT 03/16 Limo Subdistrict, Limo District, Depok by Students of the 2023 Nursing Professional Study Program consisting of from 5 people, namely Anggi Mulyana Rahayu, Aisyah Nur Fadhillah, Miqdad, Nadiya Fitriani Tanjung, and Syafitri Nurakhabi Tsabitah. Disaster mitigation activities are activities to prevent earthquakes from occurring in RT 01, RT 02, RT 03/RW 06, Limo Village, Limo District, Depok City.
The preparation process for disaster mitigation was guided by Ns. Cut Sarida Pompey, MNS as supervisor of the Matra course. The event began with a pre-test. Then the event started at 10.00 WIB which was opened by Anggi Mulyana Rahayu as Master of Ceremony. Followed by Nadiya Fitriani Tanjung and Aisyah Nur Fadhillah as presenters. This disaster mitigation activity contains a presentation regarding the definition of an earthquake, the characteristics of an earthquake, the impact of an earthquake, the meaning of mitigation, mitigation objectives, earthquake mitigation, and handling vulnerable groups. After the presentation of the material, there was a demonstration regarding what to do when an earthquake occurs. After the presentation of the material and demonstration, the community completed the post-test. This earthquake mitigation activity was closed by reading prayers and taking photos together.
It is hoped that with this disaster mitigation activity, community knowledge, attitudes and skills regarding preparedness and evacuation for earthquake disasters can increase and can be applied if one day a disaster occurs in the area.
