FIKES UPNVJ - On Saturday, April 26, a nursing professional practice mitigation activity was carried out at the Mekar Alam Posbindu located in RT 006/RW003 Limo Village, Depok City, West Java by students of the Nursing Professional Education Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences UPN "Veteran" Jakarta. This activity was carried out offline with the theme "Responsive, Alert, Safe: Safe Steps When Floods Strike".
This project was attended by residents of RT 006/RW 003 Limo Village and Nursing Students of the UPN Veteran Jakarta Professional Program. This activity is one of the activities in the nursing professional practice course which aims to educate the public about disaster prevention and handling, especially flood disasters in the form of counseling to the public regarding socialization, demonstrations, and questions and answers on related themes.
This activity started at 09.00 WIB which was opened by Raisha Athaya Ragilita, S.Kep (2410721024) as the Master of Ceremony at the event. After the opening and reading of the prayer, the next step was the delivery of material and demonstration of the use of flood disaster preparedness bags carried out by Mega Fajar Briliant, S.Kep (2410721094) and Humaida Gita CandraKirana, S.Kep (2410721037).
The event continued with a question and answer session, certificate presentation, filling out the post-test accompanied by the facilitator. After filling out the questionnaire, it was continued with the closing and reading of the prayer, then a group photo, and ended with a health check event, namely checking blood sugar and blood pressure. The participants enthusiastically participated in the health check and queued up orderly. The health education event regarding flood disaster mitigation went well and smoothly. It is hoped that by holding this outreach project activity, the local community will be able to learn how to prevent and handle flooding, especially the residents of RT 006/RW 003.
