The aim of this disaster mitigation activity is to increase knowledge and prepare the community to face changing conditions or what are called mass conditions. Matra Health itself is a special form of health effort carried out to improve physical and mental abilities to adapt to environments that are changing significantly, both on land, sea and air. Matra health is implemented to reduce the risk of health problems and maintain good health in the community when facing matra conditions.

According to Air Quality Index (AQI) data on September 20 2023, Indonesia's AQI report is at 74 AQI-US. This data shows that the Air Quality Index in Indonesia is in the "medium" position. This data covers all provinces (aqi.in.id). The increase in Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI) is thought to be the cause of increased air pollution in Indonesia. People often don't realize that pollution will have a direct impact on their body's health, but people focus more on wearing masks, even though they think that this is enough to overcome air pollution which will affect their health. So this is quite relevant, considering that people underestimate exposure to pollution, because people feel that there are no long-term effects from exposure to pollution. With this in mind, they are the ones who will be affected by the long-term effects of exposure to pollution, such as asthma, ISPA, and others. Increasing air pollution can also increase ISPA diseases, so it must be responded to quickly and with appropriate control. Burning rubbish and vehicle exhaust are factors causing increased air pollution

In an effort to prevent and reduce the risk of loss of life, it is necessary to use both structural and non-structural approaches. Structural mitigation is more directed at a technical engineering approach to buildings that are resistant to disasters, whereas non-structural mitigation is a more sustainable, non-physical effort as an institutional policy, a sense of concern and a community empowerment factor. Increasing knowledge is carried out by outreach methods to the community.

The first event began with an opening by the MC and moderator, Febi Puspitasari, and continued with remarks from Mrs. RT and Mrs. Kader. After the welcome and prayer together, the main event of mitigation was held, namely the presentation of material regarding PREVENT ISPA WITH TRIO DISPA by the speakers, namely Mar'atul Isnainiyah and Nida Mujahidah, guided by the moderator, while providing posters to prevent ISPA with trio DISPA so that residents could more easily understand the material. which are given.

After the presentation of the material, a discussion and question and answer session opened. Participants who attended actively asked and discussed how to prevent and treat ISPA. Participants also shared experiences related to ISPA that they had experienced recently. After the discussion and question and answer session, participants were given a post-test questionnaire again to find out whether the participants had understood the material that had been presented. Followed by providing food/snacks, and ending with a group photo guided by Fransiska Sando Sinaga
