FIKES UPNVJ - On Wednesday, May 1 2024, health education activities were carried out with the theme Natural Disasters and Injury Management which were carried out online by students of the UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Diploma Three Physiotherapy Study Program. This activity is part of the disaster mitigation framework in the Matra Health course.

Students provide counseling with the title Natural Disasters and Injury Management with the aim of increasing community preparedness in facing a natural disaster as well as providing knowledge to the community on how to handle injuries. Counseling is provided regarding the understanding of natural disasters in general, triage categories, triage principles, general understanding of injuries, handling of injuries.

The first step, students give a questionnaire in the form of a pretest and posttest to the participants, aiming to find out whether there is improvement or not after receiving the counseling that has been delivered by the students.

This outreach activity was attended by general participants. Events held online. This activity started at 19.15 WIB, opened by Chaerunnisah as Master of Ceremony, followed by a presentation on Natural Disasters and Injury Management by Syafira Putri Ninda Arianti. After all the material was presented, it was followed by a question and answer session between the participants and the presenters. After all the material and the question and answer session have been delivered. The outreach activity closed with a photo session and thanks.
