FIKES UPNVJ - The Ministry of Transportation through the Transportation Policy Agency (BKT) conducted a survey of people's movements during Eid al-Fitr in 2024, which is predicted to be 193.6 million people. This number has increased compared to the movement of people during Eid al-Fitr in 2023, which is only 123.8 million people. The number of traffic accidents in cars and motorbikes during the Eid homecoming period needs to be paid attention to, because it is still a problem among the community. The results of the field assessment in RT.006/RW.003, Limo Village, Depok City, obtained a total of 220 Family Cards, where around 60% of the population came from immigrants and around 40% were native residents. Information obtained from an interview with the Head of RT 006 stated that "during Eid al-Fitr the surrounding area is quiet, because the majority of residents go home to their hometowns."
Apart from that, an assessment was also carried out in the form of a questionnaire with a total of 30 respondents. Data was obtained that most of the respondents often made homecoming trips to various destination areas, including Central Java, East Java, Yogyakarta, and so on. The data obtained was that the number of respondents experienced health problems that were often experienced both during and after returning home, namely fatigue (45.8%), aches and pains (25%), and back pain (20.8%). Then, there is data on the lack of knowledge of respondents regarding providing First Aid in Accidents (P3K) with data (66.7%). This is the basis for the need to increase knowledge regarding health preparedness and management for the use of private transportation when returning home.
