FIKES UPNVJ - A Field Project entitled "Health and Safety Preparedness for Prospective Hajj/Umrah Pilgrims (Recognize and Prevent Heat Stroke)" has been implemented. The activity took place at the Umrah Joint KUD Soliamitra Jl. Limo Raya No. 80 RT 02/RW 04 Limo Village, Limo District, Depok City took place smoothly and was filled with enthusiasm from the participants who were prospective Hajj/Umrah pilgrims. The activity was attended by 44 participants, 3 from the management of KUD Soliamitra.
The activity begins with participant registration and a health examination, namely checking blood pressure, pulse and breathing. Then the activity was opened by the host (Dara Sucika) by singing the National Anthem Indonesia Raya and Mars Bela Negara and remarks from the chief executive (Dara Sucika), continued by representatives of KUD Soliamitra (Mr. Abdul Rahman) and giving tokens of love in the form of plaques and certificates. which is represented by the chief executive to representatives of KUD Soliamitra. Then participants are directed to complete the pre-test.
After that, the material was presented starting from group one regarding heat stroke management, how to prevent and treat it. After presenting the material with a PowerPoint presentation, it was continued with a demonstration of heat stroke management using educational media, leaflets and ice bags, and the participants were assisted by each facilitator. There is also a quiz session with prizes where participants who can answer the questions will be given prizes. After all the material presentations were completed, the participants were directed to complete the posttest with the assistance of each facilitator. Then the activity was closed by the host and a group photo was taken. Then souvenirs were distributed in the form of drinking bottles and ice bags to all participants present.
