Opening of Family and Gerontic Nursing Field Practice for D3 Nursing Students at Posyandu RW 1, Limo Village

FIKES UPNVJ - On Wednesday, May 21, 2025, the Opening of Family and Gerontic Nursing Field Practice was held at the Posyandu RW 1, Limo Village, located on Jl Rotan Kampung Bedeng RT 5/ RW 1, Limo Village, Limo District, Depok City. This activity was carried out with the aim of opening the practice and fostering a relationship of mutual trust between students and the community and to identify health problems that often occur in the RW 01 practice area, especially in RT 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, and 10.

This PKL opening activity was attended by Udin. S as the head of RW 1, Mawih as the head of RT 3, Abdul Rohman as the head of RT 6, Karmin as the head of RT 10, and Lecturers of Family and Gerontic Nursing Practice, Nursing Study Program, Diploma Three Program, FIKES UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, namely Ns. Nourmayansa Vidya Anggraini, M.Kep., Sp.Kep.Kom, Ns. Syamikar Baridwan Syamsir, M. Kep., Sp. Kep. K, and Ns. T. Widya Naralia, S.Kep., M.Kep., Sp.Kep.K. Also present were Mrs. Siti Komariah as the head of the Cadre, as well as the mothers of the cadres and representatives of the RW 01 community who enthusiastically participated in the opening of the Family and Gerontic Nursing Field Practice.

This activity began at 09.00 which was opened by Cherrya Maulidya Salsabilah as the master of ceremony at this event. After the opening series was completed, the attendees sang the song Indonesia Raya followed by the National Defense March. The next activity in the series of events was the speeches given by several parties, namely the speech from the lecturer coordinating the family and gerontic nursing practice by Ns. Syamikar Baridwan Syamsir, M. Kep., Sp. Kep. K, remarks from the head of the D3 Nursing study program represented by Ns. Nourmayansa Vidya Anggraini, M.Kep., Sp.Kep.Kom, and remarks from the head of RW 1 by Udin. S. Furthermore, the opening of the Family and Gerontic Nursing Field Practice was closed after the entire series of events were completed and ended with a group photo session.

It is hoped that with this activity, the relationship of mutual trust between students and the community can be further improved. The community is also expected to be able to actively participate in the entire series of Family and Gerontic Nursing Practice activities planned in the future.
