During the educational session, participants gained in-depth knowledge about the importance of fast and appropriate first aid for fractures, as well as practical ways to use portable splints as temporary support before the victim receives further medical treatment. The material was presented in an easy-to-understand approach and involved live demonstrations guided by the two speakers.
As part of this activity, participants were also given the opportunity to ask questions and discuss various scenarios that might occur in the field. This activity is expected to improve the skills and preparedness of teachers in dealing with emergency incidents involving their students, especially in challenging conditions.
This Project Based Learning (PjBL) activity not only provides direct benefits to participants, but also strengthens the relationship between UPN "Veteran" Jakarta and SLB Kembar Karya Pembangunan II. Hopefully, this activity will be the first step for other educational programs that can be implemented to improve the quality of safety and health in the educational environment.
