FIKES UPNVJ - On Thursday, November 28, 2024, the Maternity Nursing Field Project activity "Adolescent Reproductive Health Education: Increasing Understanding of Sexuality and Prevention of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs)" was carried out as a fulfillment of the final assignment for the Maternity Nursing course. This activity was organized by Undergraduate Nursing Study Program Students (Semester 3) who are active students of the Undergraduate Nursing Study Program class of 2023, class II C with the supervisor Rita Ismail, S.Kp., M.K.M., MTD (HE)., Ph.D. We determined the activity based on the theme obtained and the results of the situation analysis that had been carried out. The activity was attended by 46 students of SMK Al-Hidayah Depok, Jl. Masjid Al-Muhajirin Cinere Depok, Cinere, Kec. Cinere, Depok City.

This activity was carried out using the lecture method using powerpoint and pamphlets. The activity took place from 08.30-10.00. The purpose of this activity was to increase participants' knowledge about sexuality and prevention of STIs. The activity began with an opening by the MC followed by a speech from the chief executive and entered the main event, namely the presentation of material on understanding sexuality and prevention of sexually transmitted diseases. After the presentation of the material, participants were given the opportunity to ask questions about sexually transmitted and non-transmitted diseases, what are the differences and the reasons why open wounds can cause sexually transmitted diseases. The next event was an ice breaking session in the form of chickens and ducks that had to be counted how many chickens and ducks. The activity was closed with a group photo, distribution of food and presentation of certificates to the school. (PAT/KFA)
