FIKES UPNVJ - On Monday, June 3 2024, the Undergraduate Physiotherapy Program Student Fieldwork Project was carried out with the theme "Health Measurement of the Elderly". This project with the theme of measurement was carried out by a group of Physiotherapy Students from the Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta. The group leader for this field event was brother Haniful Khairy, deputy leader sister Jesy Radiyani, and members consisting of brother Audric Adrien Minderman, sister Puan Ayyu Safira, sister Rindu Sinta Lestari, sister Syalaisha Awliya Fasya, and sister Tasynim Ekananda Musakinah and Cadres from Posbindu "Mekar Alam" and residents of RT and RW 01/05.
This checking process was attended by 28 residents. Participants who attended this event were residents from RT 01 and RW 05. Before starting the measurement process, we together with the cadres at Posbindu "Mekar Alam" registered the elderly who were present at 14.05 - 14.20 WIB. The measurement process began first with a short speech from the Group Chair, Haniful Khairy, at 14.25 WIB. In this session, Brother Haniful Khairy expressed his gratitude for the opportunity given to carry out a health examination, as well as a brief explanation regarding the measurements that would be given to residents.
After the speech was given, the examination process began which was carried out on the residents of RT 01 and RW 05 by students from the Physiotherapy Undergraduate Program in the order of measuring blood pressure first. This was followed by a blood sugar check, followed by a handgrip to measure hand strength, and finally a WHR (Waist Hip Ratio) measurement was carried out from 14.30 - 14.50 WIB.
At 14.55 WIB the residents had finished checking and continued with checking the cadres from Posbindu "Mekar Alam", the measurement process continued until 15.27 WIB.
After the measurement event was finished, at 15.30 WIB the students prepared to pack up the items and equipment they had brought. At 15.38 WIB, a photo was taken with the "Mekar Alam" Posbindu cadres. Then, at 15.45 WIB the measurement process was completed with the closing of the posbindu.
