PBL "Initial Treatment of Fractures/Fractures in the Community of RT 001/RW 006, Grogol Village, Limo District"

FIKES UPNVJ - On Saturday, May 18 2024, Health Project Based Learning activities were carried out in Critical Nursing, Emergency Nursing, Community Aggregate Nursing, Adult Nursing, Musculoskeletal System, Integument, Sensory Perception and Nervous System. Project Based Learning is carried out in the form of education with the theme "Initial Treatment of Fractures/Fractures in the Community of RT 001/RW 006, Grogol Village, Limo District". This activity is located at the Nadhlotul Ummah Mosque, Kp. Grogol Sebrang RT 01/06, Kel. Grogol, District. Limo Depok, West Java. This Project Based Learning activity was carried out by 6th Semester Nursing Study Program students who were accompanied by several supervisors, including Ns. Lina Berliana Togatorop, S.Kep., M.Kep as lecturer in Adult Nursing on the Musculoskeletal System, Integument, Sensory Perception and Nervous, Ns. Wiwin Winarti, S.Kep, M.Epid., MN as lecturer in Emergency Nursing, Ns. Diah Tika Anggraeni, S.Kep., M.Kep as lecturer in Critical Nursing, and Ns. Chandra Tri Wahyudi., M.Kes., M.Kep as lecturer in Community Aggregate Nursing. The targets and participants of this activity are people from RT 001/RW 006, Grogol Village, Limo District.

The series of activities begins with participant registration. After all participants were registered, the event continued with an opening by the MC which was then followed by the playing of the songs Indonesia Raya and Mars Bela Negara. Next, there was a welcoming session given by the Chief Executive, followed by remarks from local representatives and Lecturers representing Project Based Learning. After the remarks are finished, participants will take a pre-test to measure their initial knowledge about fractures. After the pre-test activities were completed, the event continued with the presentation of material regarding fractures, signs and correct treatment methods, followed by a splinting demonstration which aims to provide practical understanding of how to treat fractures.

A question and answer session will be opened after the demonstration, where participants can ask questions and discuss further. Then, participants will take a post-test to assess the increase in their understanding after participating in this activity. After that, the participants who are most active in asking questions and being involved in the discussion will be announced, and prizes will be distributed as a form of appreciation. The event will close with prayer and continue with a group photo session as a memento. Finally, the official closing of this series of activities was carried out.
