The guidance methods implemented in clinical physiotherapy practice activities are:

Case Based Discussion (CBD)
Case Based Discussion is a method of clinical guidance based on cases encountered in the field with an emphasis on assessing students' clinical reasoning, so that they can understand the basis/reasons behind a decision in clinical practice. The CBD method places more emphasis on problem solving. This CBD method involves presenting cases that are managed and discussed with the supervisor. In implementing CBD, the preceptor selects 1-2 cases which are managed by students. Implementation ± 20-30 minutes (including 5 minutes of feedback). Rated several times. The CBD implementation stage is a presentation followed by discussion/question and answer and continued by providing feedback.

Clinic Tutorial
Clinical tutorials are an instructional model design which is a variant of project-oriented learning. Clinical tutorials are small group discussions according to stages facilitated by preceptors who are oriented towards patient problems. The tutorial process carried out includes: before the tutorial, students prepare themselves by studying scenarios, students are advised to have a physiotherapy book or e-book, journal, prepare supporting facilities (marker, white border, eraser). During the tutorial, students are prohibited from opening reference books, gadgets, laptops and what they are allowed to bring is a summary of the material the student has studied. The assessment method in clinical tutorials is in the form of a tutorial assessment which includes process assessment and providing feedback. The process assessment takes the form of preparation for discussions, brainstorming abilities, mastery of knowledge related to material, critical thinking about problems, team work abilities, ability to respond to material, communication skills and discipline. Providing feedback in the form of clinical reasoning, evidence based relevance, communication and professional behavior.

Case Reflection
Case reflection is an analysis of a case in order to increase students' understanding of a particular case which aims to help connect the clinical activities carried out with the competency targets that must be achieved, develop critical thinking skills, be open to differences in ideas and be ready to anticipate the consequences of actions taken on patients and helps retention of experience in handling cases into meaningful learning. In preparing a plan for self-reflection, students need to try to look for external evidence such as feedback from friends or supervisors, as well as appropriate references to support the accuracy of identifying lessons learned/learning issues. Apart from that, students also need to connect the experience being reflected on with other relevant experiences. Assessment of case reflections using an assessment checklist which includes case identification/description, exposure of personal emotions towards the case, presentation of evaluation of good and bad experiences, ability to analyze cases based on EBM, ability to make conclusions, ability to determine follow-up plans, professional behavior, writing documentation, ability overall discussion. The supervisor provides feedback on students' case reflection abilities.
