FIKES UPNVJ - On Tuesday, November 28 2023, a group of 4 Physiotherapy Students from the Undergraduate study program held an outreach activity with the title "Optimizing Motor Ability and Increasing Attention in Children with Special Needs Using Play Therapy Methods", which was held at the Nusantara Extraordinary Education Foundation, Depok.
This activity is one of the Base Learning Projects in the Child Growth and Development Physiotherapy Management course. Students are required to apply what they have learned during the lecture period to teachers about what play therapy is and its benefits and impacts. After that, students apply it directly to the children while providing the material to the teachers who teach. In this activity, the group that participated in YPLB Nusantara was Group 4 of PJBL for Physiotherapy Students of the Undergraduate Program Class of 2021, with a total of 8 members, namely Nurul Aurah Fitrya (2110715007), Isyraf Ghandi Arifianto (2110715012), Dyah Fitri Ambar Susanti (2110715015), Jun Yanti Magdalena (2110715019), Aqilla Adriani (2110715020), Anwiena Nimatul Husna (2110715026), Zalfa Aurelia Ramadewi (2110715031), and Rere Eka Novianti (2110715034) with Mrs. Rena Mailani, S.Ft, M.Biomed, AIFO., as lecturer mentor.
The series of events started with Pre Test Filling, Opening by MC, Welcome by Mrs. Rena Mailani, S.Ft, M.Biomed, AIFO. and Mr. Sujono, representative from YPLB Nusantara, Delivery of Material, Implementation of Play Therapy, Post Test, Snack Time, performance by YPLB Nusantara children, and ending with a documentation session as closing.
