PJBL Health Communication "The Role of Nutritious Food in Supporting the Process of Puberty, Growth and Development of Adolescents" at SMP Gelora, Limo, Depok

FIKES UPNVJ — On Friday, November 8, 2024, Undergraduate Nutrition Study Program Students and Undergraduate Nursing Study Program Students conducted counseling activities guided by the lecturer in charge of the Health Communication course, Dr. Laily Hanifah, S.K.M, M.Kes. The counseling activity was carried out with the title THE ROLE OF NUTRITIOUS FOOD IN SUPPORTING THE PROCESS OF PUBERTY, GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF ADOLESCENTS targeting 9th grade students at SMP Gelora, Limo, Depok.

This counseling activity is one of the Project Based Learning in the Health Communication course. Students are required to go into the field as educators to educate students by paying attention to effective communication so as to bring positive changes to 9th grade students at SMP Gelora. The series of activities began with student registration, opening and introduction, Pretest, Presentation of materials, Q&A session, Ice Breaking, Posttest, and closed with the handover of certificates and a group photo session. The activity was short but memorable, the students looked happy with our arrival and responded well. The event went smoothly and the students responded very well, as seen from the results of the Pretest and Posttest showing significant results which means that the educational activities have been successfully carried out.
