PJBL Health Communication "The Importance of Early Prevention of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) in Maintaining Public Health"

FIKES UPNVJ - On Friday, November 22, 2024, Nursing Study Program Undergraduate Program and Nutrition Study Program Undergraduate Program FIKES UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, supervised by the lecturer in charge of the course, Dr. Putri Permatasari, SKM, MKM. held a counseling activity entitled The Importance of Early Prevention of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) in maintaining Public Health with the theme "unite against mosquitoes: prevent DHF starting from home." This counseling was carried out at the Creative Counseling House for housewives aged 25-50 years.

This activity is one of the Project Base Learning in the Health Communication course, students are required to become Educators in the field of Health in the Community Environment and go directly to the field, besides that students are required to master the material and practices related to the theme taken and how to communicate the material effectively to the Community. In this activity, the group that went into the field was Group 3 PJBL in class 14 Health Communication Class of 2024 which consisted of a total of 8 people, namely:

The series of events began with the Opening, Pre-Test, Presentation of the Importance of Early Prevention of Dengue Fever (DBD) in maintaining Public Health to housewives aged 25-50 years, Hand washing demonstration, Post-Test, ended with games, and continued with a documentation session as a closing. The event went smoothly and the audience responded very enthusiastically.

The audience responded very well in listening to the material presented as evidenced by the results that were significantly different from the Pre-Test and Post-Test where it was seen that the post-test they worked on got results according to what we expected
