PJBL Examination Regarding Body Mass Index (BMI) And Lower Extremity Examination In Adolescents

FIKES UPNVJ - Depok- On Sunday, November 24, 2024, Physiotherapy Study Program Students of the Undergraduate Program FIKES UPN "Veteran" Jakarta have carried out Project Based Learning (PJBL) activities regarding "Body Mass Index (BMI) examination and lower extremity examination in adolescents" at the SPARTA Football Sports Community which is located at the Limo Youth Field, Jl. Limo Raya No.22, Limo, Limo District, Depok City, West Java 16514. This activity was carried out to fulfill the assignment from the Physiotherapy Examination and Measurement course taught by Lecturers Agustiyawan, SST. Ft., M. Fis., Ftr., AIFO and Kiki Rezki Faradillah, S. Ft., M. Biomed. The Chief Executive of the activity was Ananda Chalisa, as well as other members who helped the activity run, namely Aziah Aziani, Aulia Azzahra, Rael Faiq Kaisan, Fawziyah Safitri, and Haniful Khairy. As well as Publication and Documentation (PUBDOK) by Jessy Radiyani and consumption by Tasynim Ekananda M. As well as the Youth of the "SPARTA" Football Sports Community and the accompanying coaches.

This PjBL activity was attended by 19 youth from the SPARTA Football Sports Community. Before the activity began, the group members made preparations for the smooth running of the PjBL activity. The activity began at 08.00 WIB, with an opening session and a brief explanation of the examination that would be carried out by Ananda Chalisa. Furthermore, the youth were given a piece of paper to record the results of their measurements. Each measurement has a member of the group on duty.

At 08.10 WIB, BMI measurements were carried out, namely measuring body weight and height. Each child will move from one measurement post to another until finished, assisted by group members. This measurement is carried out to identify the physical potential to become an athlete and as one of the monitoring references to ensure that players are in healthy and optimal physical condition.

Then, at 08.20 WIB, it was continued with the McMurray Test and Lachman Test examinations to identify any injuries or disorders that could affect performance, as well as prevent further injuries. After that, it was continued with a snack distribution session as a token of gratitude.

At 08.48 WIB, it was continued with the provision of education for teenagers to pay more attention to their physical condition and maintain their physical potential. After that, the activity was closed with a photo session with all teenagers and their accompanying coaches. And the group members said goodbye to the SPARTA Limo Football Sports Community Coach to leave the PjBL location.
