Collaboration of Public Health Study Program Undergraduate Program Upnvj and Universiti Teknologi Mara Malaysia: Big Class Good Manufacturing Practices

FIKES UPNVJ - On Thursday, December 5 2024, at 9.15 WIB/10.15 Malaysia Time, a Large Class Lecture was held on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) as a form of real collaboration between the UPN Undergraduate Public Health Study Program (PSKMPS) Jakarta “Veteran” and the Universiti Teknologi Mara Malaysia (UiTM) Environmental Health and Safety Study Center. From UiTM, Dr. Siti Norashikin bint Mohamad Shaifuddin served as moderator and Dr. Megat Azman bin Megat Mokhtar and Puan Siti Elyza bint Mohd Isa as speakers. From PSKMPS UPNVJ, Dr. Fajaria Nurcandra and Mr. Arga Buntara were present as lecturers in the Food Hygiene and Sanitation Course. Participants in this lecture are students from UiTM and Semester V students of the UPNVJ Environmental Health Specialization.

Dr. Megat Azman delivered the core lecture material on GMPs, while Puan Siti Elyza shared her experience on the implementation of GMPs in the hospitality industry in Malaysia. This session was continued with a discussion session that became a forum for the enthusiasm of the Environmental Health students. The lecture ended with a welcoming session and a light conclusion from representatives of UiTM and PSKMPS UPNVJ.

The collaboration between PSKMPS UPNVJ and UiTM has been going on since 2021. It is hoped that this collaboration and cooperation will be stronger and also become a symbol of brotherhood not only between UPNVJ and UiTM, but also for the Republic of Indonesia and the Kingdom of Malaysia. [AB ]
