FIKES UPNVJ - This Community Service Field Project is a Combined Project of 4 Nursing Subjects consisting of Adult Nursing, Musculoskeletal System, Integument, Sensory Perception and Nervous, Community Nursing, Critical Nursing and Emergency Nursing which was carried out on Saturday, May 11 2024 at 09.30 WIB-Finish at RT. 02 / RW. 07, Pengasinan, Sawangan District, Depok City with the theme "Beware of Hypertension, Prevent Stroke Complications by Going to the Hospital Immediately". This activity was organized by students from the Undergraduate Nursing Study Program (Semester 6) Group 2 Class A who are active students from the 2021 Undergraduate Nursing Study Program. The respondents who participated in this activity were 28 people aged from adults to old age. This event was held to increase health knowledge regarding diseases that attack the Musculoskeletal System, Integument, Sensory Perception and Nervousness such as Hypertension and Stroke to local residents, increase knowledge on how to prevent them with hypertension exercises, as well as appropriate treatment if a sudden stroke occurs.
This activity was not attended by course supervisors, but could be attended by Mrs. Rita Damayanti as a representative from RW Pengasinan.
The activity began with an opening by the MC and registration of participants. Then continued with the playing of the songs Indonesia Raya and Mars Bela Negara with a standing position. Next, the participants sat back down and listened to remarks from the chief executive (Chairun Nissa) and Mrs. RW (Mrs. Rita Damayanti). After that, participants were directed by the MC to complete the pretest.
After participants have finished completing the pretest, they enter the main event of this project based learning field activity, namely education about the concept of hypertension, followed by education on hypertension exercises, the concept of stroke, and treatment when there are signs of symptoms and a stroke occurs. Then continued with a re-demonstration of hypertension exercises to prevent stroke. After that, it continued with a question and answer session which was attended enthusiastically by the participants. The presenters and committee answered questions quite well. After the question and answer session, participants were directed to complete the Post-Test, accompanied by prizes for the best questioners at the end of the event to evaluate the audience's knowledge after presenting the material.
Closing of the event "Community Service Field Project" for Undergraduate Nursing Study Program Students (Semester 6 2021) was officially closed by the MC and continued by a group photo session. Then, residents of the Pengasinan area carried out health checks in the form of blood pressure measurements carried out by Bachelor of Nursing students at UPN Veteran Jakarta.
