FIKES UPNVJ – On April 17, 2025, the continuation of the field assessment activities began at exactly 08.30, Mrs. Ns. Desmawati, M. Kep., Sp. Kep. Mat, PhD as the Dean of FIKES UPN "Veteran" Jakarta opened the morning session to start the opening of the second day. Two experienced assessors, Prof. Dr. drh. Ririh Yudhastuti and Prof. Dr. Masrizal, carefully led the evaluation process starting with a presentation of the study program profile by Mrs. Dr. Apriningsih, SKM, MKM as the Coordinator of the Public Health Study Program for the Masters Program. For almost two hours, the courtroom witnessed an intense academic dialogue about the achievements of the study program over the past three years. The growth graph of the number of international publications, accreditation data for managed scientific journals, and documentation of cooperation with various health institutions were discussed in detail.
The first evaluation was related to the Vision, Mission and Objectives. "What are the characteristics of the study program contained in the vision and mission and how is it implemented in the tridharma of higher education," commented Prof. Masrizal after listening to the presentation. The response sparked an exciting discussion about the facts of the implementation fulfillment according to the characteristics of the study program.
When the clock showed 10:30, the atmosphere of the room changed to be more dynamic with the start of a separate discussion session with various stakeholders from stakeholders evaluated by Prof. Dr. drh. Ririh Yudhastuti.
Meanwhile, in another room, students and alumni openly shared their experiences about the learning process they went through, guided by Prof. Masrizal.
The prayer and lunch break sessions were only a short break before the activity continued with strict verification of various supporting documents. The assessor team carefully examined the reports of collaborative activities, evidence of research implementation, and the alignment of the curriculum used. This document tracing process lasted until the afternoon, accompanied by the study program team who were ready to answer every verification question.
When dusk began to greet the campus, around 15:30, all participants gathered again for a feedback session. Important recommendations were conveyed by the two assessors to improve the quality of the study program. Throughout the day, not only documents and data were assessed, but also the enthusiasm of the entire academic community in realizing superior and relevant higher education in public health.
