Day Three of Accreditation Visitation: Closing of Accreditation Visitation

FIKES UPNVJ - Friday, April 18, 2025 - In the FIKES meeting room of UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, a solemn atmosphere was depicted for the closing of the series of accreditation visits for the Public Health Masters Program which had been going on for three days. The assessors, the Dean and his staff, and the accreditation boring preparation committee team were present. Prof. Dr. drh. Ririh Yudhastuti, as a representative of the assessor team, then conveyed the main findings during the visitation. She explained the various strengths of the study program and important notes that were recommended for revision. Prof. Dr. Masrizal also wisely conveyed several strategic recommendations, especially regarding the implementation of the characteristics of the Study Program.

The event reached its peak when Ns. Desmawati, M. Kep., Sp. Kep. Mat, PhD as the Dean of FIKES expressed her commitment to immediately follow up on all input. "The recommendations from the assessor team will be our guide in preparing the study program development plan for the next five years," she emphasized with determination. At around 11.30, the signing of the minutes and submission of recommendation documents were carried out. The documents were submitted by the two assessors to the Dean of FIKES UPNVJ and the Head of the Public Health Study Program of the Masters Program, witnessed by all participants. In their closing remarks, both teams of assessors emphasized that the accreditation results are not the final goal, but rather a stepping stone to achieving greater excellence.

This accreditation visitation may have formally ended, but the spirit to continue improving the quality of public health education at UPN Veteran Jakarta has just received new energy. As the saying goes, the end of a process is the beginning of a new journey and this morning, the entire FIKES UPN Veteran Jakarta family is ready to step into a new chapter with the spirit and commitment strengthened through this visitation process.
