Mahasiswa Goes To Abroad “Empowering Future Physiotherapists Through Global Exposure”

FIKES UPNVJ – A series of Student Webinar Goes to Abroad events was held by the Physiotherapy Student Association for Diploma Three and Undergraduate Programs, Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN “Veteran” Jakarta on Saturday, May 31, 2025, which was held online via Zoom Meeting with the theme “Empowering Future Physiotherapists through Global Exposure”.

The 2025 Student Webinar Goes to Abroad is one of the work programs held by the Department of Student Resource Development and the Academic Department which aims to help provide complete and accurate information regarding various study opportunities, internships, and physiotherapy student exchange programs abroad. This information includes the types of scholarships available and how to register, so that students can prepare themselves better. In addition, this program also aims to open students' perspectives on the development of physiotherapy globally and the importance of adapting to international standards in modern physiotherapy practice. By providing international insight and experience, it is hoped that this program will be able to encourage the enthusiasm of physiotherapy students to take bold steps in developing their potential and building superior competencies at the global level. The activity was carried out in the form of an online webinar carried out via Zoom Meeting.

On Saturday, May 31, 2025, the activity took place online via Zoom Meeting. The event started at 08.00 to 10.50 WIB. This activity was attended by approximately 91 online participants from various agencies. This activity was hosted by Kharrisma Claudya as the MC who is an Active Physiotherapy Student of the Diploma Three Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, class of 2024 and Alin Nadia Putri as the MC who is an Active Physiotherapy Student of the Undergraduate Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, class of 2024. Then this activity began with an opening by the MC, singing the song Indonesia Raya and the National Defense March, followed by a documentation session, then remarks by the Chairperson of the Executive Ummi Dian Rahmawati, remarks by the Deputy Chairperson of the Undergraduate Physiotherapy Student Association Dinda Farhani and the Deputy Chairperson of the Diploma Physiotherapy Student Association Adinda Tasya Maharani, then remarks by the Head of the S1 Physiotherapy Department Rabia, S.Ft., M.Biomed and the Head of the D3 Physiotherapy Department Mrs. Mona Oktarina, S.Ft., Ftr., M.Biomed, then remarks by the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni and Cooperation Mr. Agustiyawan, SST.FT., M.Fis.,Ftr., AIFO, then continued with the delivery of material by Farahdina Bachtiar, S.FT., Physio., M.Sc., AIFO, the activity ended with a question and answer session and the awarding of certificates to the speakers by the MC.
