Judiciary and Provision of Odd Semester Graduates 2024/2025 FIKES UPNVJ: Preparing a Generation of Qualified Health Professionals

FIKES UPNVJ - Jakarta, 19 February 2025 – The Faculty of Health Sciences, Jakarta "Veteran" National Development University (FIKES UPNVJ) successfully held Judicial and Graduation Activities for Odd Semester 2024/2025 Graduates. This solemn event was attended by deans, study program coordinators, and 202 students graduating from the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year.

The series of events began with the procession of the arrival of the deans and study program coordinators into the room, which was then continued with an opening session guided by the Master of Ceremony, Syamikar Baridwan Syamsir, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kep., Sp.Kep.K, and Ns. T Widya Naralia, S.Kep., M.Kep., Sp.Kep.K. After singing the songs Indonesia Raya and Mars Bela Negara together, the event continued with reading prayers.

As part of the academic agenda, the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Mrs. Rita Ismail, S.Kp., M.K.M., MTD(HE), Ph.D., read out the 2024/2025 Odd Semester Academic Report. Next, the Dean of FIKES UPNVJ, Mrs. Desmawati, SKP, M.Kep, Sp. Kep, Mat., Ph.D., officially opened the event and handed over the graduates to the study program coordinators.

In an atmosphere full of enthusiasm and togetherness, four student representatives conveyed their impressions and messages, marking their achievements and academic journey at FIKES UPNVJ. The participants' enthusiasm increased during the briefing session by the main resource person, Dr. Mohammad Syahril, Sp.P, MPH, as head of the Indonesian Health Council. He delivered material regarding the importance of a Registration Certificate (STR) for health workers and the application process. Apart from that, Mr. Agustiyawan, SST, M.Fis., as Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni and Cooperation, also socialized Tracer Study, an important program in tracking UPNVJ alumni.

The event became even more lively with a special appearance from graduates of the Public Health Study Program, Rayhan and Paloma, who presented a song as an expression of gratitude and togetherness.

In closing, the Dean of UPNVJ FIKES officially closed the 2024/2025 Odd Semester Judicial and Debriefing activities. The event ended with a group photo session between the graduate students and the deans and study program coordinators, marking a precious moment before the graduates stepped onto their professional level.

By holding this activity, it is hoped that FIKES UPNVJ graduates will be ready to face challenges in the world of work and can make the best contribution to society as competent health workers with integrity.
