FIKES UPNVJ - Jakarta, 2025 — The Faculty of Health Sciences at Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ) proudly held a Disaster Health Simulation as a tangible implementation of national defense values, while also strengthening Interprofessional Education (IPE) and Interprofessional Collaboration (IPC) in health education. This simulation was designed to provide hands-on experience and practical skills to students across health professions in responding to disaster situations in an integrated and effective manner. The activity aims to produce graduates who are not only excellent and innovative in their fields of study but also highly competitive and instilled with a strong sense of national defense.

Through this initiative, UPNVJ is also reaffirming its role as a higher education institution actively contributing to national disaster management. As a recognition of its preparedness and capabilities, UPNVJ will be officially registered in the Health Reserve Personnel Information System as part of the Health Reserve Team under the Crisis Center of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. This status not only enhances UPNVJ's presence at the national level but also serves as a concrete manifestation of the university’s role in supporting national resilience through the health sector. It is expected that graduates will become front-liners in disaster risk mitigation and professional, integrated emergency health services. The Rector of UPN "Veteran" Jakarta stated, “This simulation activity is a strategic step to strengthen interprofessional collaboration while instilling the spirit of national defense in our students. It is an investment in the future, building a health workforce that is ready and resilient in facing disaster challenges in Indonesia.”
