FIKES UPNVJ - Jakarta, 2025 — In an effort to strengthen clean and transparent governance, the Faculty of Health Sciences at Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ) organized an Integrity Zone Socialization specifically targeted at the faculty leadership. This activity addressed key topics such as gratuities, public complaints, the whistleblowing system, and conflicts of interest as part of a shared commitment to creating an accountable and corruption-free work environment.
This socialization serves as a strategic step to enhance the understanding and awareness of faculty leaders in carrying out their duties in line with the principles of the Integrity Zone, positioning them as role models for the entire academic community at the Faculty of Health Sciences. Participants were provided with comprehensive guidelines on mechanisms for preventing gratuities, handling public complaints, and managing an effective and secure whistleblowing system.
With a focus on integrity-based leadership, this initiative is expected to strengthen the implementation of Corruption-Free Zones (ZBK) and Clean Bureaucracy Serving Zones (ZBBM) within the Faculty of Health Sciences at UPNVJ. Special emphasis was also placed on preventing conflicts of interest to ensure that all decisions are made objectively and responsibly.
The Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Partnerships stated, “As leaders, we bear a significant responsibility to ensure integrity and accountability throughout all levels of the faculty. This socialization lays the foundation for building a work culture rooted in honesty and professionalism—key requirements for delivering quality educational services.”
This activity marks an important moment in reinforcing institutional governance and represents a tangible commitment by the Faculty of Health Sciences at UPNVJ to support bureaucratic reform and strengthen a transparent internal oversight system.
