Students of the Undergraduate Program in Nutrition and Undergraduate Program in Physiotherapy in the Timor Leste International KKN Activity

FIKES UPNVJ - Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) has released four students who will carry out the Timor Leste International Community Service (KKN). Consisting of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Physiotherapy Study Program, Undergraduate Program, Patricia Desta Anjani NIM 2110715033, Nutrition Study Program, Undergraduate Program, Olvi Oktaviani NIM 2110714029 and Farah Zhafirah NIM 2110714013, and the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Alya Ramadani NIM 2210413041.
The release was attended by UPNVJ Chancellor Anter Venus along with the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Secretary of the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), and Head of the Center for Community Service and KKN LPPM.
"This is the second year we have sent students to carry out KKN. This program is part of UPNVJ's strategic steps for internationalization," said Venus.
"We have taken several steps, including the current one," she continued, in a statement at the UPNVJ Rectorate Lobby.
Venus hopes that the students who are leaving for KKN can contribute to the progress of UPNVJ and also maintain the good name of the alma mater.
"You carry the good name of UPNVJ. Maintain the good name of our alma mater. Make good and maximum contributions. This is our effort to spread the values ​​of National Defense. In KKN like this, it is time to interact with other people or other cultures, which is a way to implement National Defense, especially in the field of community development," she explained.
The implementation of the NTT-Timor Leste International KKN will be held for 1 month in NTT and 1 month in Timor Leste on August 5, 2024 - September 24, 2024. Meanwhile, the implementation of the Medan BKS-PTN Barat Medan 2024 International KKN will be held for 1 month in Medan, West Sumatra on August 6 - September 5, 2024.
In its division, there are four students who will go to NTT-Timor Leste, and 5 students to Medan.
Venus also advised that this agenda is a direct practice to train leadership and solve problems directly which can be a provision for students before entering the industrial world.
"Start practicing leadership and solving problems in the field. This is learning based on your experiences in the field. As the rector, I am proud and grateful to LPPM, the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and all parties who are consistently involved in improving the quality of our education," he concluded.
