FIKES UPNVJ - The Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) 2024 was held on August 15, 2024, from 09:00 to 12:00 WIB. The purpose of this event was to introduce campus life to the new students of 2024, particularly those in the Master of Public Health program. It aimed to them become more comprehensive, active, solution-oriented, and communicative future healthcare professionals in addressing health issues, with a strong sense of national defense, targeting the 2024 cohort.
The opening of PKKMB 2024 was guided by the Master of Ceremony (MC), Aldera. The event began with registration, followed by an opening by the MC, the singing of the national anthem "Indonesia Raya" and the "Bela Negara" march, a prayer, and then a video introduction to campus life at FIKES UPNVJ. This was followed by a speech from the chairperson of HMPKM, Pratiwi Kusuma Dewi, S.Tr.Kes, a speech from the Coordinator of the Master of Public Health Program at UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, Dr. Apriningsih, SKM, MKM, and a symbolic opening speech by the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, represented by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Ns. Fiora Ladesvita, S.Kep., M.Kep., Sp.Kep.MB. After the opening, a group photo session took place, followed by introductions of the Dean's Office, lecturers, the 2023 Public Health Master’s cohort, and the new 2024 Public Health Master’s students.
The next part of the event involved reading the CVs of the Moderator and the Vice Deans 1, 2, and 3, followed by a panel discussion led by these Vice Deans of the Faculty of Health Sciences UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, which was followed by a sharing session. After that, certificates of appreciation were given to the Vice Deans. Then, the CV of the Head of the Study Program was read, followed by a presentation on academics by the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Public Health Program at UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, which was also followed by a sharing session. Certificates of appreciation were then awarded to the Head of the Study Program and the Moderator. The event concluded with a closing by the MC, followed by a group photo with the speakers, committee members, and PKKMB 2024 participants.
