FIKES UPNVJ – Monday, August 19, 2024 The Undergraduate Physiotherapy Study Program Student Association (HISFO) sent 2 people as delegates to the international event 12th Asian Physical Therapy Student Association (APTSA) Congress which was held offline at Universitas Aisyiyah’ Yogyakarta (UNISA) on August 17-18, 2024. This congress carries the theme “The Development of Physiotherapy Treatment Approach in Low Back Pain” in line with the prevalence of lower back pain today, especially in Asian countries. The purpose of this activity is to strengthen relations between physiotherapy students throughout Asia and increase their understanding of the role of physiotherapy in overcoming this problem.
This activity lasts for 2 days, where the first day is an International Webinar which is held in a hybrid manner (offline/online) at UNISA. This event starts at 07.30 WIB until 17.00 WIB. The speakers and interesting topics presented on the first day are as follows.

Day 2 was the APTSA Congress which was held online, starting at 07.30 WIB until 11.30 WIB. The agenda for the day was filled with Country Presentations and Cultural Exchange by physiotherapy students from various Asian countries.
The delegates sent were Faiza Syifa Dzakira as a participant in the congress and Gibran Ghani as a participant and speaker in the Country Presentation session on the 2nd day of the congress. The material presented by Gibran Ghani together with APTSA colleague Gilbert Erick Christian Bunga was "A comprehensive overview of low back pain in Indonesia."
The event was closed with gratitude to all parties who have supported and organized this event as well as the provision of final attendance to all participants who have attended the entire series of events.
