HIMFIS : “Optimizing Welfcare with Integrated Physiotherapy”. Kegiatan World Physiotherapy Appreciation Day (WPAD)

FIKES UPNVJ – World Physiotherapy Appreciation Day (WPAD) activities were held on Saturday-Sunday, 9-10 September 2023 which were held offline at the MERCe UPNVJ Building and South City with the theme "Optimizing Welfcare with Integrated Physiotherapy". The World Physiotherapy Appreciation Day (WPAD) activity is one of the work programs held by the Department of Community Social Affairs which aims to commemorate World Physiotherapy Day by holding a walk, in order to increase knowledge, awareness and quality of health by UPNVJ Physiotherapy students and disseminate information about Physiotherapy to wide community.

On the first day, this activity was carried out offline at the MERCe UPNVJ Building from 07.30 WIB to 11.00 WIB. Then on the second day, this activity was carried out offline in South City starting from 06.30 WIB to 12.00 WIB. This World Physiotherapy Appreciation Day (WPAD) activity was attended by participants from UPNVJ Physiotherapy Study Program students.

The first day's activities were held offline at the MERCe UPNVJ Building, guided by Alfonso Oclind Gabe Damanik and Bella Liena Ayuningrum as presenters who are Active Students of the Physiotherapy Diploma Three Program of the UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Faculty of Health Sciences class of 2022. This activity began with an opening, report Chairman of the World Physiotherapy Appreciation Day (WPAD), remarks from the chairman of the Diploma Three Physiotherapy Student Association, remarks by the Head of the Diploma Three Physiotherapy Study Program and remarks by the Deputy Dean III for Student Affairs and Cooperation, then continued with a group photo session by all participants and the committee, quiz competition consisting of 5 sessions, ice breaking, final quiz competition session, and closing.

The second day's activities were held offline in South City, guided by Alfonso Oclind Gabe Damanik and Bella Liena Ayuningrum as presenters who are Active Students of the Physiotherapy Diploma Three Program at the Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta class of 2022. This activity began with an opening by the Police Chief and Koramil, handing over certificates to the Police Chief and Koramil then continued with a group photo by all participants and the committee. Next, the participants and committee carried out a walk, rest, student performances, announcement of competition winners, prize presentation, and closing.

The benefit of the World Physiotherapy Appreciation Day (WPAD) activity is to celebrate World Physiotherapy Day which is celebrated on September 8. This activity is also a form of disseminating information about Physiotherapy and World Physiotherapy Day to the public. The end of the 2023 World Physiotherapy Appreciation Day (WPAD) activities will be published on the social media of the Diploma Three Physiotherapy Student Association, Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta.
