FIKES UPNVJ - Nurse Professional Education Study Program The Professional Program of the Faculty of Health Sciences UPN "Veteran" Jakarta conducts orientation and pre-clinical activities for Nurse 2023 students on Tuesday-Thursday, 15-18 August 2023 at the Merce Auditorium Building. The activity began with the opening of pre-clinical activities from the Coordinator of the Nurse Professional Education Study Program by Ms. Ns. Cut Sarida Pompey, S.Kep., M.N.S.

This activity aims to prepare the attitudes, mentality, and skills of nursing students who will continue their professional education in the 2023/2024 academic year in Hospitals, Health Centers, Communities, Social Institutions which have been designated as areas for professional practice. Important points that are of concern to students while carrying out professional clinical practice are reviewing the materials and skills that have been learned during the academic stage, obeying the regulations that apply in each practice area and showing that nurse students at UPN "Veteran" Jakarta are nurse students who have a martial soul. country.

The activity lasts for 3 days to review material that students really need during clinical practice. At the beginning of the activity students were given the opportunity to work on competency test questions (UKOM) to find out student knowledge in dealing with competency exam questions (UKOM). The first day's activity was a material review on Patient Safety from Ns. Serri Hutahaean, S.Kep., M.Kep,

continued on the second day to receive a review of Basic Life Assistance (BHD) from Dr. Arief Wahyudi Jadmiko, S.Kep., M.Kep and on the third day reviewed the nursing care material from Mrs. Ns. Santi Herlina, M.Kep.,Sp.Kep.MB. All nursing students follow closely because this activity is used as initial capital to face professional practice which will be held in the third week of August.

The series of orientation and pre-clinical activities for the Nurse Professional Education Study Program can be carried out well with the hope that all nurse students can be better prepared in facing professional practice.
