UPNVJ dan Universitas Siliwangi Menandatangani MoU dan Mengadakan Benchmarking untuk Pembukaan Program Studi Magister Kesehatan Masyarakat

FIKES UPNVJ - The Jakarta Veterans National Development University (UPNVJ) and Siliwangi University officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the framework of the tridarma collaboration of higher education. As part of this collaboration, Siliwangi University conducted benchmarking activities at the UPNVJ Faculty of Health Sciences, particularly regarding the opening of the Public Health Masters Study Program.

During his visit, a delegation from Siliwangi University consisting of twelve people, led by the Dean of the Siliwangi University Faculty of Health Sciences, Ms. Dian Saraswati, S.Pd., M.Kes. They were warmly welcomed by the Dean of the UPNVJ Faculty of Health Sciences, Ms. Desmawati, S.Kp., M.Kep., Sp.Mat., PhD, Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Cooperation, Agustiyawan, SST, FT., M.Fis, Ftr ., AIFO, and Head of the Public Health Department, Dr. Apriningsih, SKM, M. Kes. In addition, several lecturers and education staff from the UPNVJ Faculty of Health Sciences were also present to welcome the delegation from Siliwangi University.

During the meeting, Mrs. Desmawati, Dean of the UPNVJ Faculty of Health Sciences, enthusiastically gave a speech to the Siliwangi University delegation and expressed her gratitude for their visit. He expressed his pride in the collaboration that existed between the two universities and realized the importance of exchanging knowledge and experience in the development of public health study programs. Mr. Agustyawan, Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, emphasized that UPNVJ and Siliwangi University have the same background, namely having been private universities before becoming state universities, and both have a focus on the faculty of health sciences. Therefore, the collaboration between the two is very important. By collaborating with each other, the two universities can take advantage of each other's strengths and share knowledge, experience and best practices to advance the development of public health in Indonesia. Furthermore, Head of the Department of Public Health, Mrs. Dr. Apriningsih, gave an in-depth explanation of the successful process of opening the Public Health Masters Study Program at UPNVJ.

During the benchmarking visit, the Siliwangi University delegation had the opportunity to interact with UPNVJ Faculty of Health Sciences lecturers and education staff. Discussions and exchange of knowledge between the two parties went well, involving various topics related to curriculum, human resources, and management of master study programs. On this occasion, the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Siliwangi University, Ms. Dian Saraswati, expressed her high appreciation for the UPNVJ Faculty of Health Sciences for their cooperation and hospitality. He also hoped that there would be further collaboration between the two universities in the development of the public health sector.

This benchmarking visit became an important momentum in increasing collaboration and knowledge exchange between UPNVJ and Siliwangi University. Through this collaboration, the two universities are expected to mutually strengthen and support the development of quality public health study programs that contribute positively to society.

UPNVJ and Siliwangi University are committed to continuing to forge beneficial and sustainable partnerships in the fields of higher education, research and community service. It is hoped that this collaboration can serve as an inspirational example for other tertiary institutions in improving the quality and relevance of public health study programs in Indonesia.
