FIKES UPNVJ On Monday, 17 May 2021, the Faculty of Health Sciences Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING between College of Nutrition, Taipei Medical University (TMU), Republic of China (Taiwan) and Faculty of Health Sciences, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ), Indonesia

1. In order to promote cooperation in nutrition and food sciences education, educational exchanges, and scientific research between TMU and UPNVJ, the following types of collaboration are anticipated:

1.1 Exchanges of students;

1.2 Exchanges of visiting research scholars;

1.3 Joint research projects in the field(s) of nutrition and food sciences;

1.4 Participation in international conferences, seminars, symposia, workshops and other activities agreed by both parties; and

1.5 Exchange of academic materials and other information.

2. This Memorandum of Understanding (hereinafter referred to as “MOU”) expresses the parties’ intention in respect of the matters set forth herein, but does not constitute as legally binding obligations to either party other than the obligations pursuant to this and the following Articles.

3. This MOU places no financial obligations or supplementary funding commitments on either party. The terms of cooperation for each specific activity contemplated under this MOU shall be mutually discussed and agreed upon by both parties prior to initiation of that activity. Each party shall designate a liaison office to develop and coordinate the specific activities agreed upon.

4. This MOU will become effective upon the date of signature by both parties and shall remain valid for a period of five (5) years from the date of the last signature. This MOU may be modified by the written mutual consent of both parties. Either party may terminate this MOU by providing the other party six (6) months’ written notice, unless an earlier termination is mutually
