FIKES UPNVJ - Holds "Toxic Lifestyle" Seminar at Pelita Ilmu Health High School as Part of the "HIMADIKA Go To School" Program, Depok, April 29, 2025 – The Student Association of the Diploma Three Nursing Program (HIMADIKA) of Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ) successfully held an important seminar today titled "Toxic Lifestyle: 1001 Modern Habits That Secretly Harm You" at Pelita Ilmu Health High School. The event was attended by 59 students from grades 10, 11, and 12 as part of the "HIMADIKA Go To School" initiative.

The seminar, held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, aimed to raise awareness among Pelita Ilmu Health High School students about the dangers of modern lifestyles that are often overlooked. As part of the "HIMADIKA Go To School" initiative, this activity also served as a platform to introduce and promote the D3 Nursing Program at UPNVJ to prospective students.

The "Toxic Lifestyle" seminar featured Cherrya Maulidya Salsabillah, Nur Dewi Ros Septianingsih, and Lusiana Sandriani Dhua, all members of HIMADIKA, as speakers. They provided deep insights into various trending habits that can negatively impact teenagers’ physical and mental health. Topics discussed included the adverse effects of gadget overuse, unhealthy eating patterns, social media-induced stress, and the importance of recognizing small habits that have significant impacts.

Chintia Febriyanti, the Event Coordinator, expressed her enthusiasm for the successful execution of the program. "Through 'HIMADIKA Go To School', we not only aim to share knowledge about the importance of a healthy lifestyle but also to provide accurate and engaging information about the D3 Nursing Program at UPNVJ. We hope to attract promising students interested in pursuing a career in nursing," she said.

The Principal of Pelita Ilmu Health High School, Mrs. Irma Dewi, S.St., M.KM, welcomed the initiative by HIMADIKA UPNVJ. "We highly appreciate HIMADIKA UPNVJ’s efforts in organizing this beneficial seminar for our students. This event not only broadens their health knowledge but also offers a clear overview of educational opportunities in the nursing field," she stated.

The students of Pelita Ilmu Health High School actively participated in the seminar sessions and showed enthusiasm in engaging with HIMADIKA UPNVJ representatives regarding the D3 Nursing Program.

The "HIMADIKA Go To School" program, through the "Toxic Lifestyle" seminar, is expected to enhance students' awareness of healthy living and inspire them to consider continuing their education in nursing through the D3 Nursing Program at UPNVJ. (LL)
