FIKES UPNVJ – A series of events for the Foster Village 2 were held by the Physiotherapy Student Association of the Diploma Three Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN “Veteran” Jakarta on Sunday, April 20, 2025, which was held offline at RW.02 Bedahan Village, Sawangan District with the theme “Physical Activity to Improve the Quality of Life of the Elderly”.
The 2025 Foster Village 2 activity is one of the work programs held by the Department of Social Affairs which aims to Improve Community Health and Mobility Through Empowerment. The activity is carried out in the form of counseling by serving the community.
On Sunday, April 20, 2025, the activity took place offline at RW.02 Bedahan Village, Sawangan District. The event started at 09.00 – 11.40 WIB. This activity was attended by 15 residents from RW.02 Bedahan Village, Sawangan District. This activity was hosted by Neva Victoria Alexandra and Kamawitha Naila Khairunnisa, as the MCs who are Active Physiotherapy Students of the Diploma Three Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, class of 2024. Then this activity began with an opening by the MC, singing the song Indonesia Raya and the National Defense March, remarks by the Chief Executive, remarks by the Chairperson of the Physiotherapy Student Association of the Diploma Three Program, remarks by the Representative of the Physiotherapy Study Program Lecturers, and remarks by the Chairperson of RW.02 and the Bedahan Village Foundation Management. After that, it was continued with filling in participant registration, filling in the pre-test, material presentation, ice breaking session, question and answer session, filling in the post-test, giving certificates, giving souvenirs, a group photo session and finally closing by the MC.
The benefits of the Foster Village 2 Activity are to introduce the Physiotherapy Study Program, especially the Diploma Three Physiotherapy Program of UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, as a forum for health promotion and to provide participants with the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the importance of physical activity to improve the quality of life in the elderly. The end of the 2025 Foster Village 2 activities will be published on the social media of the Physiotherapy Student Association of the Diploma Three Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta.
