Expanding Academic Network: FIKES UPNVJ Welcomes Visit from Chulabhorn Graduate Institute

FIKES UPNVJ - Depok, March 6, 2025 – The Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) of Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ) received a visit from the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute (CGI) Delegation - Thailand on Thursday, March 6, 2025. The delegates from CGI who attended the meeting were Prof. Dr. Prasat Kittakoop and Miss Preeranan Booranasophone.

This visit was welcomed by the leadership of FIKES UPNVJ, including the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Rita Ismail, S.Kp., M.K.M., MTD (HE)., Ph.D .; Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni and Cooperation, Agustiyawan, SST.FT., M.Fis; Head of the Department of Public Health, Dr. Apriningsih, MKM; and several lecturers from the Public Health Study Program, namely Dr. Laily Hanifah, SKM, M.Kes; Apt. Riswandy Wasir, Ph.D.; Dr. Yunita Amraeni, SKM, MKM; Ismi Farah Syarifah, M.Sc; and Farahul Jannah, S.Kep, MKKK.

In this meeting, the two institutions discussed various possibilities for future cooperation, especially in the fields of education, research, and community service. Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of FIKES UPNVJ, Rita Ismail, S.Kp., M.K.M., MTD(HE)., Ph.D., explained the various study programs available at FIKES UPNVJ and the plan to open an international class in the coming year.

Meanwhile, representatives from CGI explained the scholarship programs available for FIKES UPNVJ students and the qualifications needed to obtain the scholarship. In addition, CGI also expressed its willingness to help promote the opening of UPNVJ's international class in Thailand and introduce a short course program that can be followed by FIKES UPNVJ lecturers.

The meeting took place in a warm and constructive atmosphere, with the hope of opening up opportunities for strategic cooperation between the two institutions in the future. The event ended with a souvenir exchange session as a symbol of closer cooperation.
