FIKES UPNVJ - The Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) of Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ) held a socialization of the Academic Support Unit for Language services on February 15, 2025. The activity, which took place online, aimed to introduce various services and facilities that can support the development of students' language skills, especially in preparing them to become superior, innovative, and competitive graduates at the international level.
This socialization was attended by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni and Cooperation, a number of lecturers, students, and academic staff from FIKES UPNVJ. In this activity, the Academic Support Unit for Language explained various services including English courses, other foreign language counseling, and certification programs that can help students improve their language skills. This program is expected to support the quality of education at the Faculty of Health Sciences, so that the graduates produced not only have technical skills, but also good communication skills in international languages.
The Faculty of Health Sciences explained that this program is very relevant to current global demands, where foreign language skills are an important factor in facing competition in the global market. With this service, it is hoped that FIKES students can be more confident in facing challenges in the world of work, both at national and international levels. In addition, this also supports the university's vision to produce graduates who are not only qualified but also have excellence in the field of language. With this socialization, it is hoped that FIKES UPN VJ students will be increasingly motivated to utilize the available services to improve their competence. In the future, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta is committed to continuing to strengthen academic support facilities, especially in the field of language, to ensure that its graduates are ready to compete in the professional world and can make positive contributions at the international level.
