FIKES UPNVJ – A series of International Webinar Physiotherapy events were held by the Physiotherapy Student Association of the Diploma Three Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN “Veteran” Jakarta on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, which was held online via Zoom Meeting, with the theme “Physiotherapy Approaches in the Treatment of Frozen Shoulder”.
The 2024 International Webinar Physiotherapy activity is one of the work programs held by the Department of Science and Work which aims to improve the knowledge, insight, understanding and competence of health workers, especially physiotherapists, in treating patients with Frozen Shoulder cases. The activity was carried out in the form of a webinar regarding the presentation of material on the role of physiotherapy in treating Frozen Shoulder cases.
Wednesday, July 31, 2024, the activity took place online via Zoom Meeting. The event started at 08.10 WIB. This event was attended by approximately 160 online participants from national and international sources. This activity was hosted by Silmi Ridhiya and Farhan Abigian as the MCs who are Active Physiotherapy Students of the Diploma Three Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, class of 2022 and 2023. Then this activity began with an opening by the MC, remarks by the Chairperson of the International Webinar Physiotherapy Committee, Chairperson of the Physiotherapy Student Association of the Diploma Program, then remarks by the Coordinator of the Physiotherapy Study Program of the Diploma Three Program, Mrs. Rena Mailani, S.Ft., M.Biomed., AIFO and remarks by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation Mr. Agustiyawan, SST.FT., M.Fis., Ftr., AIFO continued with a group photo by all participants and the committee, then continued with the handover of the event from the MC to the moderator Alfonso Oclind Gabe Damanik, continued with the presentation of the first material by Mr. Andy Sirada, SST.FT., M.Fis., AIFO with a question and answer session, then the presentation of the second material by Mr. Heru Purwanto, Ftr., NTMC.TC with a question and answer session. Then continued with the presentation of the third material by Mr. Shah Prem Jitesh (PT) (MIAP, MGSCPT), continued with the handover of the event from the moderator to the MC, the announcement of door prizes by the MC and the closing of the event.
The benefits of the International Webinar Physiotherapy Activity are to introduce the Physiotherapy Study Program, especially the Diploma Three Physiotherapy Program of UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, as a forum for health promotion, and to provide participants with the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of patient care in cases of Frozen Shoulder.
The end of the 2024 International Webinar Physiotherapy activity will be published on the social media of the Physiotherapy Student Association of the Diploma Three Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta.
