FIKES UPNVJ Ready to Achieve International Accreditation through ASIIN 2024

FIKES UPNVJ - On 27 and 28, 27 November 2024, the ASIIN international accreditation (Akkreditierungsagentur für Studiengänge der Ingenieurwissenschaften, der Informatik, der Naturwissenschaften und der Mathematik) was carried out at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta.

In this case, the ASIIN assessor team carried out the accreditation process for four study programs at FIKES UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, namely the Nutrition Study Program for Undergraduate Programs, Public Health Study Program for Undergraduate Programs, Nursing Study Program for Undergraduate Programs, and the Nursing Profession Study Program for Professional Programs.

ASIIN International Accreditation is an output-based accreditation (Outcome Based Accreditation), and the important thing that must be shown is that the program has implemented output-based education (Outcome Based Education/OBE). Dean of FIKES UPNVJ, Desmawati, SKP, M.Kep, Sp. Kep, Mat, PhD in her presentation stated that FIKES is ready to excel in the international arena. The achievements of lecturers, staff, and students have been numerous both nationally and internationally. Now is the time for FIKES UPNVJ to be internationally accredited through ASIIN.

On Wednesday, November 27, a presentation was made by the UPNVJ rector and the UPNVJ FIKES dean. Then continued with interviews with UPNVJ FIKES partners from several hospitals (Pasar Rebo Hospital, Fatmawati Hospital, Pasar Minggu Hospital, RSPAD, Pondok Indah Hospital) and also industry (SEAMEO RECFON, PT Leighton Contractors Indonesia, Pengasinan Community Health Center). After that, interviews with study program coordinators. Continued with interviews with several students and alumni.

The Chancellor of UPNVJ, Anter Venus in his speech stated that ASIIN is a historic moment in the internationalization journey of the National Development University "Veteran" Jakarta. UPNVJ has achieved achievements in the international arena, competing with universities in the world. UPNVJ is committed to accrediting all study programs internationally in 2028. Where UPNVJ's vision is to achieve a high ranking at the global level in 2045.
