FIKES UPNVJ - On Monday, October 7, 2024, the Opening of the Practice of the Nursing Profession Study Program of the UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Gerontic Nursing Profession Program was held at the Tresna Werda Social Home (PSTW) Budi Mulia 01 Cipayung. Also present at the activity were the head of PSTW BM 01 Cipayung, Benny Martha, S.Sos, MM., Coordinating Lecturer of Gerontic Nursing Profession Practice, Ns. Chandra Tri Wahyudi, M.Kes., M.Kep., the lecturers supervising the gerontic practice, the staff, nurses and officers of PSTW Budi Mulia 01 Cipayung, and nursing students. The activity was opened with a prayer and greeting.
The message conveyed by PSTW Budi Mulia 01 Cipayung, among others, was to openly accept the presence of students who would practice to apply their knowledge and as a place of learning related to Gerontic Nursing. This established collaboration should continue to be developed so that there will be development of nursing science, especially Gerontic Nursing. The Gerontic Practice Opening Activity was carried out in order to start the clinical practice of gerontic nursing for UPN Veteran Jakarta Nursing Profession Students Class of 2024. Before the end of the activity, a group photo session was held and continued with orientation and distribution of group practice accommodation by Mr. Rahmat.
