FIKES UPNVJ - On Tuesday, October 22, 2024, a discussion activity was held on the Implementation of the FIKES Cooperation between UPN "Veteran" Jakarta and UiTM. The Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) of the National Veteran Development University of Jakarta (UPNVJ) and Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia, have officially established a collaboration to improve the quality of education and research in the health sector, namely in the Public Health, Nursing and Physiotherapy study programs. This collaboration aims to strengthen the synergy between the two institutions through the exchange of knowledge and experience, as well as increasing academic capacity that will have a positive impact on students and the wider community. Within this framework, various programs will be implemented, and began with the signing of the Cooperation in the fields of Education, research and community service and a tour of the laboratories owned by FIKES UPNVJ. The activity started at 09.00 WIB when 4 lecturers from UiTM arrived at the FIKES UPN VJ campus, JL.Raya Limo Depok, West Java. Guest lecturers from UiTM consisted of 4 lecturers and 1 assistant lecturer.
The following are the names of UiTM lecturers who came as invited as visiting professors and scholars:

After the welcoming speech and opening from the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Cooperation Agustyawan, it was continued with the presentation of each department about the study program, curriculum, lecturers and collaborative activity plans that can be carried out together between UiTM and FIKES UPNVJ.
The first presentation started from the Public Health Department presented by Dr. Apriningsih, S.K.M.,M.K.M, continued by the Nursing Department Ns. Cut S.Pompey, S.Kep.,MNS and Ns. Gamya Tri U., M.Kep. Then from the Physiotherapy department, the presentation was carried out by Rena Mailani, S.Ft., Mbiomed.
UiTM also explained programs that can be collaborated on, including: Lecture exchange, Exchange examiner, Matching grant research program with a nominal funding of 10,000RM or around Rp.35,000,000. Dr. Isma explained that this matching grant research program has been implemented with several universities in Indonesia with UiTM, including UNAIR.
After the discussion was over, the activity continued with a tour of the Public Health, Nursing and Physiotherapy laboratories. Then the group visited the Malaysian embassy in Jakarta for the education counselor section.
