Seminar Nasional Kesehatan Masyarakat “Break The Silence: Improving Reproductive Health Education to Empowering The Resilience of Future Indonesia Generation”

FIKES UPNVJ - The 2024 UPN “Veteran” Jakarta National Public Health Seminar was held online on Saturday, September 14, 2024, using the Zoom Meeting platform. This event has the theme, namely “Break The Silence: Improving Reproductive Health Education to Empowering The Resilience of Future Indonesian Generation”. The purpose of this activity is to increase participants' knowledge regarding the importance of reproductive health policy and education strategies to combat taboos and improve the quality of life of the community in the future. The UPN “Veteran” Jakarta National Public Health Seminar was attended by students, students, and the general public from various regions in Indonesia. This event was hosted by the Master of Ceremony (MC), namely Anindita Larasati and the moderator was Mrs. Chahya Kharin Herbawani, S.Keb., Bd., M.K.M.

The event began with registration and filling out the pre-test which was continued with the opening, prayer, reading of the rules of procedure, and a group photo. After that, listening to the song Indonesia Raya, Mars Bela Negara, and Mars Kesmas, as well as the screening of the Jingle Semnas video. Then, remarks by Syakirah Aghniyya as the Chief Executive of the National Public Health Seminar UPN "Veteran" Jakarta 2024, remarks by Muhammad Raihan Hanif as the Chairperson of HMKM UPNVJ for the 2024/2025 Period, and Mrs. Dr. Chandrayani Simanjorang, S.K.M., M.Epid. as the Coordinator of the Public Health Study Program, Undergraduate Program UPN "Veteran" Jakarta.

Then, the next event was the screening of the profile video of the Faculty of Health Sciences UPN "Veteran" Jakarta which was continued with the reading of the Keynote Speaker's CV and the screening of the Keynote Speaker's introduction video and presentation of material by the Keynote Speaker. The Keynote Speaker on this occasion was Mrs. Dr. Maria Gayatri, S.Si., M.A.P.S., as the Population and Family Planning Arranger, Associate Expert in the Field of Family and Reproductive Health, BKKBN.

The 2024 UPN “Veteran” Jakarta National Public Health Seminar continued with the reading of the moderator's CV, the reading of speaker 1's CV and the presentation of material 1 by speaker 1, namely Dr. Sandeep Tarman Nanwani, MMSc from the Program Specialist for Sexual and Reproductive Health at UNFPA Indonesia. Then, the seminar was also filled with an ice breaking session guided by the MC to cool down the participants. After that, the reading of speaker 2's CV and the presentation of material 2 by speaker 2, namely Dr. Lusyta Puri Ardhiyanti, S.ST., M.Kes. as a Lecturer in the Public Health Study Program, Undergraduate Program, UPN “Veteran” Jakarta. After all the speakers delivered their materials, the event continued with a talk show session with Dr. Sandeep Tarman Nanwani, MMSc and Dr. Lusyta Puri Ardhiyanti, S.ST., M.Kes. which was guided by the moderator. Questions were raised by general students and students from UPN “Veteran” Jakarta. Afterwards, the speakers gave closing statements and the event was taken over again by the MC by reading the announcement of the best questioner. Before closing, the MC reminded the participants to fill in the evaluation and post-test links. (AA/ISL)
