FIKES UPNVJ - On December 19, 2024, Andy Sirada, S.S.T., M.Fis Lecturer of Physiotherapy Study Program FIKES UPN "Veteran" Jakarta conducted a Book Review of Musculoskeletal Diseases written together with other lecturers. This book review was attended by 21 participants consisting of lecturers and students. One of the Musculoskeletal Diseases is Myasthenia Gravis, an autoimmune disease that attacks the neuromuscular junction and causes muscle weakness. This disease requires a multidisciplinary approach, including physical therapy to maintain muscle function. Physical therapy as part of the management of this disease is with light to moderate intensity exercise, adequate rest, adjustment of the exercise program to the severity of the disease and individual capacity and breathing exercises.
