Sharing Session I OHSEF UPNVJ 2024 “Fire Safety 101: Proactive Approach To Prevent Workplace Fires And Minimize The Risk” OHSEF UPNVJ 2024

UPNVJ FIKES - On Monday, March 25 2024, the 2024 OHSEF UPNVJ Sharing Session I work program was carried out with the theme "Fire Safety 101: Proactive Approach to Prevent Workplace Fires and Minimize The Risk". This activity was organized by the management of the Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment Forum (OHSEF) UPNVJ 2024. This activity was attended by 28 students from the Public Health Study Program of the UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Undergraduate Program. The aim of this activity is to increase students' knowledge and understanding of the importance of learning a proactive approach to preventing fires in the workplace. With this activity, it is hoped that it can increase students' knowledge and insight regarding fires, increase students' awareness of the importance of studying fires in the workplace from an K3 perspective, and be able to implement fire prevention efforts, emergency action plans, control techniques and fire evacuation procedures in the workplace. In its implementation, several series of events have been carried out. This activity begins with registration and filling out a pre-test by participants. The pre-test was completed to determine the participants' initial knowledge before presenting the material. Then, it continued with the opening by the MC, namely Nicolaus Bevan Pramudito as an active student of the Public Health Study Program, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Undergraduate Program class of 2021.

The activity continued with reading the agenda, reading the rules and regulations, playing the safety induction, and playing the songs Indonesia Raya and Mars Bela Negara. The next event was a welcome speech given by the chief executive, namely Amanda Permadi Putri, the chairman of OHSEF UPNVJ 2024, namely Muhamad Naufal, and the coordinator of the Undergraduate Public Health Study Program, namely Mrs. Dr. Chandrayani Simanjorang, S.K.M., M.Epid.

The next series of events is the reading of the moderator's Curriculum Vitae (CV) by the MC and the next event is handed over to the moderator. Then, it continued with a material presentation session which began with reading the Curriculum Vitae (CV) of Resource 1 by the moderator. The presentation of the material was delivered by Resource Person 1, namely Mrs. Dr. Suparni, S.T., M.K.K.K regarding Fire Safety Management for 30 minutes. After the presentation of the material, the activity continued with a talk show and question and answer session with resource person 1, namely Mrs. Dr. Suparni, S.T., M.K.K.K

Resource person 2 is Mr. Hasan, a representative from the Depok City Fire Department. The talk show and question and answer session was led by the moderator, namely Muhamad Faathir Amri, an active student of the Public Health Study Program, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Undergraduate Program class of 2021. The talk show and question and answer session with the speakers discussed the implementation of Fire Safety Management and its obstacles in people's lives. Participants looked enthusiastic and several questions were asked during the question and answer session. Then, it continued with reading the conclusions by the moderator, giving plaques to the speakers, and a group photo session guided by the MC. The next event was the mobilization of participants to the hyperbaric field in front of UPN "Veteran" Jakarta to carry out fire extinguishing practices. The practice of extinguishing fires using jute sacks and APAR lasted for 30 minutes and was led by the Depok City Fire Department. The participants seemed enthusiastic by participating in fire extinguishing practices. Finally, the activity continued with closing by the MC and completing a post-test and evaluation to determine the participants' knowledge after presenting the material and as a requirement to obtain an e-certificate.
